What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. It is used to remember things between visits: from one of your preferences to a usage statistic.

Until you accept analytics, Google Analytics loads with consent denied: it writes no cookie and generates no identifier for you, and the visit is only counted anonymously and in aggregate. When you accept, it starts measuring with cookies.
How to change your mind
At the bottom of every page there is a “Cookie settings” link: it clears your decision and shows the notice again so you can choose afresh.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that if you delete the technical cookie storing your decision, the notice will appear again.
If you reject
The website works exactly the same. The only difference is that no analytics cookie is stored and your visit only counts as an anonymous signal, without identifying you.
